My journey into teaching

Explore the path that led me to music education, from my own school experiences to the aspirations I hold for my future students. Discover the moments that shaped my passion for teaching music.

The spark for music education

My journey into music teaching began in my own school days. Music class was always a positive experience for me; it was a sanctuary where I felt free to be myself without judgment. It truly felt like a home away from home, and this is exactly the environment I aspire to create for my future students who might share similar feelings.

Inspiring creativity in students

My greatest hope as a music teacher is to spark creativity in my students. I want to empower them to express themselves in any musical way they can imagine. Music offers a unique avenue for self-expression, and I believe every student should have the chance to explore and develop their own musical voice.

My pivotal moment on stage

One defining memory from primary school truly solidified my connection to music. I was quite introverted and didn't have many friends. When asked to try out for the school rock band, I was incredibly nervous. However, the moment I stepped on stage and started singing, all my nerves melted away. It felt as though people finally saw the real me for the very first time, and that feeling was exhilarating.
